Cost subsidies for scientific trips and excursions
The application for funding, which must be submitted before the start of the trip, must justify the extent to which the trip or excursion to be funded by the Malvinas Foundation corresponds to the purpose of the foundation. This includes information on the expected scientific yield of the trip or excursion and on the ability of the participants to achieve the scientific objectives pursued by this trip or excursion.
An application to the Malvinas Foundation for the granting of cost subsidies and scholarships for scientific trips and excursions can only be submitted after all public funding options have been exhausted. Proof of the bodies to which funding has been applied for and the outcome (including any reasons for rejection) must be enclosed.
At the end of the trip or excursion, a short final report must be submitted to the Board of the Malvinas Foundation. Trips to learn international languages and the main Romance languages cannot be supported by cost subsidies.
Legal recourse is excluded in all cases. Any rejections of applications by the Malvinas Foundation will be justified.
Applications can be submitted at any time. The meetings of the Foundation's Board of Directors generally take place every six months.
